Men's Tennis Completes Day One at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - Four senior members of the Amherst College men's tennis team completed day one singles action at the Dartmouth College Invitational Friday afternoon.

SINGLES HIGHLIGHTS

  • Aaron Revzin '16 defeated Akhil Mehta of Buffalo, 6-2, 6-4 and will compete again tomorrow at 4 p.m.
  • Ben Fife '16 fell to Sergio Arevalillo of Buffalo, 7-5, 6-4, and will take on Yale's Photos Photiades tomorrow at 4 p.m. 
  • Michael Solimano '16 was edged, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 by Buffalo's Ethan Nittolo. Solimano will take on Fairfield's Ofir Solomon Saturday at 2:30 p.m. 
  • Andrew Yaraghi '16 lost 6-2, 6-1 to Yale's Ziqi Yang. He will play again tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. 

DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS

  • Doubles action begins Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Solimano and Revzin will be in action against Jack Haworth and Charles Tan of Brown; while Fife and Yaraghi will take on Nittolo and Pablo Alvarez of Buffalo.
