Seniors Lead Jeffs Past Wesleyan, 9-0

AMHERST, Mass. – The top-ranked Amherst College men's tennis team turned to its eight seniors on the final day of the regular season, and the Class of 2012 responded by leading the Lord Jeffs to a 9-0 win over Wesleyan University.

Amherst (27-2, 8-0 NESCAC) increased its winning streak to 12 matches and will receive the top seed in the upcoming NESCAC Championship. The Lord Jeffs will begin their conference title defense next Saturday, when they travel to Williams College to face an opponent yet to be determined.
