March 28, 2001

AMHERST, MA - The Amherst College men's tennis team improved to 4-0 with a 4-1 dual-match victory over visiting Tufts University on Wednesday. Sophomores Adam Leibsohn (Mission Hills, KS), Andy Tsai (Tampa, FL), Robert Feeley (Chappaqua, NY) and junior David Wellner (West Hartford, CT) all posted singles wins to close out Tufts and eliminate the need for doubles play. The scheduled outdoor match was moved indoors due to recent inclement weather.

The Jeffs are now riding a four-match win-streak after a trio of victories over St. Ambrose University, Grinnell College and the University of Hartford in Orlando, Florida to start the season. They are scheduled to return to action Friday at Connecticut College at 3:30 p.m.
