    AMHERST, Mass. – Future Mammoth Kaetu Wleh (Liberia) was honored with the Squash and Education Alliance (SEA) Ty Griffin Student of the Year Award, as Amherst College and Williams College co-hosted the 17th Urban Individual Nationals from June 14-16.
  • Amherst Secures Eighth Place Showing in Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup

    CLEVELAND, Ohio. – For the 13th consecutive season, Amherst College has placed in the top-ten in the country when the final results of the IMG Learfield College Directors’ Cup were announced Wednesday. The Mammoths took eighth place out of 338 Division III schools in the annual competition, which ranks schools who have reached the national level of competition in each NCAA sport.

  • Wang Nabs Consolation Victory at CSA Individual Nationals

    Providence, R.I. – Amherst men’s Squash student-athletes Harith Khawaja ’19 and Terrence Wang ’21 capped off the Mammoths season with an appearance at the CSA Individual Nationals where Wang claimed a consolation victory after the Mammoths fell in their opening matches in the main draw at the Nicol Squash Club at Moses Brown School over the weekend.

    STAMFORD, Conn. – Robinson Armour ’22 led the Amherst men’s squash team posting two sweeps on the final two days of competition as they concluded their appearance in the 2019 CSA Team Championship, nabbing a 7-2 win over Bowdoin in their first consolation match on Saturday before dropping to Bates College, 6-3, on Sunday morning at Chelsea Piers Connecticut.

    AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst men’s and women’s squash teams swept the first three sets against Hamilton College in all but one match combined on day two of the Pioneer Valley Invitational, blanking the Continentals 9-0 respectively Saturday afternoon at Davenport Squash Courts. The Mammoths also celebrated their efforts of raising awareness and funds for local kids with cancer prior to the beginning of the matches (Vs. Cancer).
