No. 20 Men's Squash Falls to No. 17 Brown, 7-2

AMHERST, Mass. - The No. 20 Amherst College men's squash team fell to No. 17 Brown University, 7-2 Friday afternoon at the Davenport Squash Courts.

With the loss, Amherst moves to 3-2 on the season. The Purple & White return to action Saturday, Jan. 21 when they host No. 26 Hamilton College during Pioneer Valley Invitational action at the Davenport Squash Courts.

Amherst earned two wins from courts three and four. David Merkel '18 picked up a 6-11, 11-8, 11-8, 12-10 win, while Cameron Bahadori '18 outlasted his opponent, 8-11, 11-9, 11-9, 6-11, 11-9.

Brown swept courts one, five, six, seven, and nine, and earned four-set wins on courts eight and 10 (exhibition). Harith Khawaja '19 fell in a five-set thriller, 11-7, 7-11, 11-4, 10-12, 11-5 on court two.
