No. 20 Men’s Squash Falls to No. 15 Middlebury, 9-0

AMHERST, Mass. – The No. 20 Amherst College men's squash team was swept by No. 15 Middlebury College, 9-0 Wednesday afternoon at the Davenport Squash Courts.

With the loss, Amherst moves to 1-1 on the season, while Middlebury improves to 5-2 overall. The Purple & White return to action Sunday, Jan. 15 when they host Northeastern at 11:30 a.m. at the Davenport Squash Courts.

Middlebury earned sweeps on courts one, three, four, five, seven, eight, and nine to highlight the victory. 

On court six, Darian Ehsani '17 battled Ben Krant in a five set thriller that saw the Panthers post an 11-5, 6-11, 11-13, 11-7, 11-6 win. On court two, Michael Groot '17 fell to Jacob Ellen in four sets by a score of 11-6, 5-11, 11-4, 11-8.
