RESULTS

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The seventh-seeded and No. 22 Amherst College men's squash team was edged by eighth-seeded and No. 24 Bowdoin College, 5-4 in NESCAC Championship action on Sunday. 

With the loss, Amherst (6-10) has now split the season series with Bowdoin. The Jeffs won the Jan. 9 meeting with the Polar Bears, 5-4. 

Noah Browne '16 picked up a 3-0 win (11-4, 11-3, 12-10) on the No. 1 court, while Scott DeSantis '15 fell behind, 12-10 in the first set, but won the next three (11-6, 11-7, 11-8) to secure a 3-1 win on the No. 2 court. A 3-1 (11-7, 5-11, 14-12, 11-5) win for Darian Ehsani '17 on the No. 5 court, and a 3-0 sweep (14-12, 11-1, 11-9) for Alex Southmayd '15 on the No. 8 court rounded out the Jeffs' top performances in Sunday's action.  

Amherst is back in action on Friday-Sunday, Feb. 20-22 at the CSA Team Championships hosted by Princeton University.
