PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Amherst College squash programs were represented at the College Squash Association Individual Championships by senior co-captain Caroline Shannon (Hanover, NH) on the women's side and senior co-captain Auloke Mathur (Mumbai, India) on the men's. Both advanced past the round of 32 but fell in the round of 16, dropping their final matches in the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket.

Shannon opened her tournament appearance by defeating Emily Kraft of Vassar College (9-5; 9-5; 9-5) in the Holleran Division round of 32, but fell to eventual-champion Kaitlinn Sennatt of Princeton University (1-9; 0-9; 0-9) in the round of 16. In the consolation bracket, Shannon took Emilie McKenna of Bowdoin College to four close games, but was eliminated from the tournament with the loss (7-9; 3-9; 9-5; 7-9).

Mathur began his tournament run with a victory over Vassar's Anshuman Beri (9-1; 9-0; 9-1) in the round of 32 of the Molloy Division, but fell to Edward Newhouse of Dartmouth College (6-9; 9-1; 9-4; 4-9; 7-9) in a very close match in the round of 16. After dropping the first two games of a quarterfinal match-up in the consolation bracket, Mathur took the third game, 9-3. Unfortunately the senior co-captain was unable to proceed due to injury, and ended his tournament appearance with the loss Jp Sardi of Middlebury College (7-9; 8-10; 9-3; ret.).
