Men's Golf Closes Out Fall Slate with an 11th Place Finish at Elms Invite

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Paced by Sam Procter '18, the Amherst College men's golf team carded a 310-326-636 to finish 11th overall at the two-day Elms College Blazers Fall Invite at The Orchards Golf Club.

With the 11th place finish, Amherst closes out its fall slate and will take the winter to prepare for its spring schedule beginning in April.

COURSE PAR: 71 - 6,217 yards
TOP-MAMMOTH: Procter (T-13)

Procter finished 10-over-par to pace the Mammoths with a 75-78-153 mark and tie for 13th overall, while Will Lonnquist '20 placed 39th after carding a 78 on day one and an 83 on day two (161).

With a two-day score of 162 (77-85), Dan Langa '18 tied for 40th overall, while Justin Henriksen '18 tied for 46th place with an 80-84-164 mark.

Mateo Wiesner '18 rounded out Amherst's golfers, carding an 88 on day one and an 81 on day two to finish with a 169 and place 60th overall.
