Amherst shot 53.7 percent from the floor, and out-rebounded the Lasers 43-34.

Amherst jumped out to an early lead, going on a 10-0 run in the first 2:39, and never looked back. The Mammoths continued to surge in the first half, shooting 63% from the floor and hitting 9 three-pointers, taking a 55-30 lead into the break.
