  • Tied for the team lead in runs scored (38)
  • Posted career highs in batting average (.407), runs scored (38), hits (48), triples (4), RBIs (23), slugging percentage (.542), on-base percentage (.455) and stolen bases (8)
  • Went 12-for-16 and scored 10 runs in final five games of the season
  • Ended career on a 10-game hitting streak
  • Was 1 of only 15 NESCAC players to hit .400

Senior RHP Teddy Blank

  • Struck out a career-high 10 batters without allowing a walk in 7.0 innings during a 9-4 win at Fitchburg State May 2
  • Finished career with a 9-6 record, 5 saves, 116 strikeouts in 147.2 innings pitched, and a 4.69 ERA
  • Helped Amherst post an 81-50-1 record in four years

Senior LHP John D'Angelo

  • Finished career with a 4-2 record, 6 saves, 37 strikeouts in 43.0 innings, a .272 opponents' batting average and 3.56 ERA

  • Named to NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team

Junior RHP Pat Harris

  • Led Amherst in ERA (2.53), opponents' batting average (.210), saves (4) and appearances (14)
  • Finished tied for third in the NESCAC in saves (4) and tied for fourth in games finished (9)
  • Allowed 1 hit and 0 earned runs with 5 strikeouts and 0 walks in 3.0 innings during a 16-4 win against Suffolk Mar. 20

Junior RHP Ryan Healy

  • Posted a 6-3 record
  • Led Amherst in wins (6), innings pitched (46.2) and strikeouts (38)
  • Finished second in the NESCAC in opponents' batting average (.233) and tied for third in wins (6)
  • Earned a win in 5 consecutive appearances from Apr. 3 to May 1
  • Allowed 3 hits and zero earned runs in 9.0 innings to earn the win at Middlebury May 1

Junior RHP Jeff Keenan

  • Named to NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team

Junior CF Scott Shaffer

  • Recorded 11 multi-hit games
  • Recorded 100th career hit during a 10-4 win at Williams Apr. 11

Sophomore C Mike Samela

  • Named to NEIBA All-New England Third Team

  • Became first player in program history to hit 5 doubles, 5 triples and 5 home runs in a season; seventh player in program history with at least 5 triples (first since 1999); 10th player in program history with at least 7 home runs
  • Finished with second highest slugging percentage in program history (.753)
  • Had three games with 3 stolen bases
  • Finished tied for second in the NESCAC in runners thrown out (9), second in triples (5) and fourth in slugging percentage (.753)
  • Led Amherst in walks (15) and stolen bases (13-for-13) and tied for the team lead in home runs (7)
  • Recorded 11 multi-hit and 9 multi-RBI games
  • Went 3-for-6 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs Apr. 10 vs. Williams

Sophomore DH Thomas Wheeler

  • Named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second Team
  • 1 of only 15 NESCAC players to hit at least .400 (.402)
  • Recorded 10 multi-hit and 8 multi-RBI games
  • Went 7-for-12 with 6 RBIs during 3-game series at Middlebury
  • Ended season on 6-game hitting streak (10-for-22, 8 RBIs, 5 runs)

Sophomore RF Kevin Heller

  • Named NESCAC Player of the Week Apr. 5 for going 9-for-15 with 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored during a 3-game sweep of Hamilton College
  • Led Amherst in RBIs (32) for the second consecutive season
  • Finished tied for the team lead in runs scored (38) and home runs (7)
  • Recorded 10 multi-hit games
  • Ended season on 11-game hitting streak

Sophomore LF John Wagner

Sophomore RHP Hayden Metz

  • Named NESCAC Pitcher of the Week Mar. 22 for going 3-0 with a 1.54 ERA and .256 opponents' batting average during the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational

First-year SS Bob Cook

  • Named to All-NESCAC Second Team
  • Led Amherst in batting average (.456) and on-base percentage (.489)
