Megan Shea is a senior tri-captain on the Women’s Field Hockey team. This fall she earned both NESCAC All-Academic and All-Sportsmanship honors in addition to be named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Team. She played in all 16 games this season and had two goals and two assists. Megan is majoring in Neuroscience and is a teaching assistant in the Neuroscience Department. While attending Amherst, Megan has been involved in a variety of organizations; she is the secretary of SAAC, a choreographer for Amherst Dance, a member of DASAC, and a four-year participant in the Amherst LEADS program. Megan’s favorite part of the Amherst College community is the opportunity to meet people in all different settings. She appreciates being able to participate in organizations and clubs on campus, as well as balancing her academic and athletic commitments. Congrats Megan!
